WHO should come: Families, friends, & volunteers. 
WHERE: Bellevue Park at theBragdon Shelter Pavilion Bellevue Park is just minutes from I-79 and Downtown Pittsburgh. The Bragdon Pavilion is close to parking lots / restrooms in the park
PARKING Details: Drive up to the pavilion for easy “drop off” of individuals or things for picnic. Someone will be available to help! Several handicapped spots are available right at pavilion. The public (those using pavilions and pool) can use parking in the surrounding area, however there are multiple parking lots available for accessible parking. 
WHY: This used to be a chapter tradition and the Western PA Board would love to bring it back. Let’s have some fun! 
WHAT to bring: Feel free to bring lawn chairs, blankets for grassy area, outdoor games, or crafts to do. We will provide some fun activities, lawn games, basketball for the basketball court etc. for adults and children. Want to swim? Bring your swimsuits/towel. Pool opens at noon.*There is a small fee to enter the pool- the Chapter WILL cover this expense. Just tell them at the pool entrance you are with the family picnic for HDSA!
A Favorite Picture! Help us build an HD Memory Board! Bring one (or two) of your favorite pictures of your loved ones, your families, or your favorite volunteer moment! You won't get the pictures back as we hope to use the Memory Board to share and inspire at our support groups, COE, and fundraisers.
FOOD: Bring a covered side dish or dessert to share, if you can. The W PA Chapter will provide the meat, snacks, drinks, and paper goods for the day. Counter area with plugs are available.

Do not fear hot weather or rain, as the spacious pavilion is covered with a nice breeze!
