The W PA Chapter's May Awareness activities are starting to line up! The HDSA Center of Excellence at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center will kick things off with the Sixth Annual Huntington's Disease Patient, Family and Caregiver Education Day on April 27 from 10 AM to 2 PM ET. The May Family and Friends Meeting will be held on May 9 (NOT May 2) due to a conflict at the church. Join us for a special guest speaker and a great gathering to raise awareness for HD.
Charlotte's Run 35 will be held on May 18 at Community College of Beaver County. The 5K and the Fun Walk begin at 9 AM. Registration is open from 8 AM to 8:45 AM ET. Awards in all age categories! Register or Donate online at www.runsignup.com/Race/PA/Monaca/CharlottesRun. Great prizes, t-shirts, and medals. Come out to run or walk, volunteer, or cheer!
FastTrack Pittsburgh is set for its 16th run this year on May 19 at North Park Swimming Pool Parking lot. Visit fastrack.com for more details and to sign up to drive. Races begin at 10 AM ET and go until about 2 PM ET. Spectators enjoy great food, speeding cars, and raffles on dozens of gift baskets for all ages!
